Sometimes, Parenting feels like this.........!

Isn't this so true!  It really just doesn't sink in.  And the louder you raise your voice.......the more they lean in and say, "Huh?  You want me to what?" 
 


So, moral of the story. Be patient. Cam was, of course, not really yelling here.


Today, we went visiting........to the ship to hang out with Cam on his duty day.  


I brought subs and a boardgame (Splat is the best game EVER!).  Then, we wandered around. It is hard to believe our 2 year "vacation" to San Diego is almost over. I'm a little sad. Cam, also, is going to miss a portion of life at sea.  I'm sure he will taste that again soon enough!  For now, though, our next tour to Georgia will be a nice break.

We were so happy to see Daddy. Finn cried when it was time to go home!  Shhhhh!  Don't tell....Daddy is going to surprise them tomorrow and take them out to the movies.  BRAVE!!!!  Ally and Finn will be so excited!  What a great, Daddy.

Birthdays!

Every girl in Ally's preschool class turned 5 in the same month!  We had no parties until this month!!

 


I love waking up to sweet notes from Camlon. One perk from deployments: We rarely sweat the small things and constantly try to enjoy every moment together.

We also checked out "The Lorax," from the library this week.  



Cookie Monster made my day, although it was probably the last time because Eric is getting too big for it. I'm definitely saving this one for Daniel, but other cousins can borrow it in the meantime. Let me know sisters-in-law!!!  



Ummmmmmmmmmm.................. Ally and Finn have been a little crazy in the car lately!  



I sent my mom this book for Mother's Day, but I said I wanted to read it after her. She sent it to me in less than a week! I'm already half way through. I LOVE these stories from real families all over the country.  



I have these two books to finish before I can jump into Middlemarch!
