The skies around here have been pretty stormy lately.  It is that really cool kind of stormy where the sun comes out every now and then, between showers and really shows you how dark the clouds really are!

Needless to say, we've been enjoying the rain a lot!

In Camlon's free time, we've been trying to work on our landscaping.  This house came very bare bones, except for some lovely wild rose bushes by the front entrance.

As Cam was doing all this hard work, I was busy waiting for Mama Bird to return to her nest right outside our garage.  When we first moved in the nest was already there, however, it was abandoned.  Then, these swallows moved in, renovated, and started their own family.  All the eggs have hatched and now, we've got a bird family of seven living with us.  We watch them get their food every day.  Daniel LOVES to watch them.

This is actually the bird pulling poop from the baby's bottom!! Now, they are big enough to just turn around, stick their bottoms up and over the edge, and poop out of the nest.  The older kids get a big laugh when they do that!!

This definitely makes changing smelly diapers look like a cake walk!

The spouse just hangs out on our porch ceiling fans! I have a funny video of him just cruising around it!

Daniel is getting so big! However, he is not a big talker.

Enjoy your summer! And any rain storms that might pop up!  I haven't posted in awhile and will be playing catch up.  Even a couple birthdays have gone by without a post, so the blog will be seeing some action this summer!  Love to you all!
