My dad, Grandpa Eric, called it!! After the 2nd inning, Finn was ready to go home and actually practice with his own ball. His very first swing sent the ball sailing into our neighbor's yard.
These neighbors we have not met yet.....
Cam and Finn set off to meet the neighbors and explain about the ball. Cam had rehearsed with Finn what he should say. You know, Things like....
"Hi. My name is Finn. I'm your new neighbor. I accidentally hit my ball into your yard and I'm really sorry. Could we get it back now, please?"
Finn was ready. They walked up the frontsteps together and Finn rang the doorbell. He waited nervously.
Finally two young girls run up to the door and shout through the screen,
"Are you here for the BBQ??!!!"
Finn only says one thing. He excitedly exclaims, "YES!"
Welcome to being FIVE.

Eric's face reflects "how long" it took us to get him a piece of cake.

Notice how Ally already has on Finn's new shirt. :)

Even as I type this, Finn and Ally are busy playing pirates! This coming Wednesday, Finn's friend is throwing him a surprise Pirate party!!!! We can't wait!
That's AAARRRRRR for now. Miss everyone and hope you enjoyed being a part of Finn's birthday!
